About Department of Arabic Language

    The Department of Arabic Language was established in the year 1965 AD with the establishment of the Higher Teachers College in Tripoli, and continued with the change of name to the College of Education in the year 1971 AD, then to the Center for Humanities in the year 1986 AD, then to the College of Languages in the year 1988 AD, then to the College of Arts in the year 1999 AD, then returned to the College Languages in the year 2008 AD with its reactivation. Postgraduate students study under the open semester system for two semesters “fall and spring” annually.
